LTHS 25th Anniversary Historical Tour of Lehigh Township

This year the Lehigh Township Historical Society is celebrating its 25th Anniversary since it was formed in 2001. On Saturday, October 24th, the Society is inviting you to join us on a narrated bus tour that will pass many places and buildings throughout the township that were a part of the growth of our area to celebrate that milestone. On the journey we will point out former one-room schools, churches, cemeteries, hotels and businesses in the small villages of Berlinsville, Cherryville, Danielsville, Pennsville, and Treichlers and points in between. History and stories will be shared along the way. The tours begin and end at St. Paul’s UCC in Indianland, one starting at 11:00 am and another at 12:30 pm. Between the tours a light lunch of hot dogs and refreshments will be served in the social hall.

Reservations are required for the tour and must be prepaid. Cost for age 6 to adult is $10. Children under age 6 is $5. To reserve your seat call LTHS at 610-440-0151; use our printable reservation form, linked on button above,
and mail it in with your payment; or make reservations and pay in person at the Historical Centre at
3811 Lehigh Dr. in Pennsville, next to Indian Trail Park) any Tuesday from 9:00 am to Noon.
Seats will be filled on a first come first served basis so get your reservation in as soon as possible.
New Deadline to reserve your seats is October 21st . We will confirm receipt of your tour reservation.
If you miss the deadline, call LTHS anyway.
If seats are still available, we will add your name to the tour list with payment due cash-in-hand the day of the event.
